Our non-profit community karate club is seeking support to keep martial arts training affordable and accessible for local families.
For six years, JKA Townsville has served as a safe, structured environment where children and adults in our community build physical fitness, self-defense skills, and essential life values like discipline, respect, and perseverance.
As a non-profit organization, we keep our tuition fees at a bare minimum so that financial hardship never stops a dedicated student from training.
However, to maintain this accessibility and grow our programs, we rely heavily on the generosity of community partners like you.
We are currently raising funds and securing sponsorships to help us cover:
Equipment Upgrades: Purchasing new safety mats, focus mitts, and protective sparring gear.
Scholarship Fund: Subsidizing tuition and uniform costs for low-income families.
Tournament Travel: Helping our dedicated athletes travel to regional and national competitions.
How You Can Help:
Financial Sponsorship: Contributions of any size directly fund our scholarship and equipment programs. (We offer tier-based community recognition for businesses!).
